HER HARVEST AFRICA

Her Harvest Africa (HHA) is a social enterprise dedicated to making rural women smallholder farmers more visible, better supported, and better connected to opportunities through data driven and community centered systems, while creating brighter futures for their children.

Across Africa, rural women play a vital role in food production, household nutrition, and local economies. Yet many remain invisible within agricultural value chains, limiting their access to markets, financing, partnerships, training, and development opportunities. At the same time, their children often grow up with limited access to quality education, mentorship, exposure, and opportunities that could transform their futures.

Her Harvest Africa was established to address both challenges through an integrated approach that empowers women today while investing in the next generation.

Our Two Pillars

Her Harvest

The Her Harvest pillar focuses on strengthening the economic potential of rural women farmers by improving their visibility, access, and participation within agricultural ecosystems.

Through this pillar, we:

* Identify and register rural women smallholder farmers.

* Build reliable farmer databases and community insights.

* Facilitate aggregation and market access opportunities.

* Connect farmers with strategic partners, buyers, and development programmes.

* Improve access to agricultural information, resources, and support services.

* Increase farmer visibility across agricultural value chains.

* Promote financial, social, and economic inclusion.

Our goal is to help rural women farmers increase productivity, improve incomes, strengthen their enterprises, and build sustainable livelihoods.

Her Future Initiative

The Her Future Initiative is the social impact arm of Her Harvest Africa dedicated to supporting the children of rural women farmers.

We believe that empowering a mother should also create opportunities for the next generation.

Through this initiative, we provide children in rural farming communities with access to experiences, resources, and opportunities that expand their horizons and unlock their potential.

Our programmes focus on:

* Educational support and learning opportunities.

* Mentorship and career guidance.

* Books, learning materials, and educational resources.

* Leadership and confidence development.

* Skills development programmes.

* Scholarships and educational assistance opportunities.

* Exposure to technology, innovation, and emerging career pathways.

* Community based learning and child development initiatives.

Our vision for this initiative is to ensure that every child growing up in a rural farming community has the knowledge, confidence, and opportunities needed to build a successful future.

Our Vision

To build an Africa where every rural woman farmer is visible, economically empowered, and connected to opportunities, and where every child in rural farming communities has the support and exposure needed to reach their full potential.

Our Mission

To strengthen the livelihoods of rural women smallholder farmers by connecting them to opportunities, partnerships, and resources, while investing in the education, leadership, and future success of their children.

Our Impact Philosophy

At Her Harvest Africa, we believe lasting transformation begins with the woman and extends to the generation she is raising.

When a rural woman farmer gains access to markets, information, partnerships, and economic opportunities, her household becomes more resilient.

When her children gain access to education, mentorship, leadership development, and meaningful exposure, they are better equipped to build brighter futures.

By investing in both today’s farmer and tomorrow’s leader, Her Harvest Africa is helping to build stronger families, more resilient communities, and a more prosperous Africa.
