Fire Safety Campaign

It's an initiative where we meet our target group and offer free fire training. In all instances, we teach participants. On how to use fire extinguishers.

Our target group: schools, hospital staff, homes, institutions, commercial drivers union, markets etc. 

The goal of the initiative is to reduce the increasing fire outbreaks which is causing loss of lives and properties day in and day out. In 2022, Ghana has recorded more than 5,000 fire outbreaks (reports from the Ghana National Fire Service). In January 2023, Ghana has recorded more than a 50 fire outbreaks that has taken away lives and property. Some fires even took the lives of an entire family which included a poor baby. The goal of this initiative is to spread this "Fire Safety Campaign" throughout the whole country.

However, our current goal is to meet a target group each week. There are many schools, many markets, many institutions in Ghana that can be reached. If we reach out each week in the year 2023 then we will be covering almost 340 different target groups in a year. Normally, at a meeting, not less than 10 people gather to learn. We intend that that 1 person who has been trained, can also train his/her household. Hence, 10 trained people represents 10 different families who are conscious of fire safety.
