Join Cedric Bertelli, founder of the Emotional Health Institute and co-developer of Emotional Resolution® or EmRes®*, for an engaging and guided experiential event for sex and labor trafficking survivors as well as advocates who are looking for ways to alleviate some anxiety, hypervigilance, or feeling like they’re living in survival mode.
This free online presentation will explore how emotions are created, why some emotional reactions persist long after a difficult experience has passed, and how emotional patterns can be resolved naturally. The session will include:
• An introduction to the science of emotions and emotional well-being.
• An overview of Emotional Resolution® (EmRes®) and Self-EmRes®.
• A guided group experiential exercise allowing all participants to alleviate some anxiety, hypervigilance, or feeling like living in survival mode.
• An opportunity for questions and discussion.
Please bring a pen and a piece of paper.
Event purpose: to provide participants with a practical understanding of how emotions are created, offer an introduction to Self-EmRes®, and experience a simple process that may support greater emotional well-being and resilience.
This event will be held online via Zoom. No prior experience is necessary.
We're looking forward to seeing you there!
*EmRes® is currently being studied by researchers at UCLA, with preliminary findings showing significant reductions in anxiety and fear among healthcare professionals working in high-stress environments.
